26 Science Memes That Prove the Universe Might Be Infinite but my Patience Isn’t

Here's my hypothesis: forget infinite universes - all you need is one universe that's already infinite. Think about it. There's a finite number of elements, a finite number of combinations, and if the cosmos stretches on forever, then sooner or later (and by "sooner" I mean after a few billion light-years) the same combinations are going to pop up again. That means somewhere out there, right now, in this very universe, another you is also sitting in front of a screen, trying to understand why I am blabbing about infinite universes instead of just writing an introduction to a meme listicle.

So no need for parallel dimensions - just take a really, really long road trip across space and you'll probably meet your twin. Or a version of you who actually passed their high school physics class and doesn't base his entire scientific knowledge on internet memes.
